Our School-based Health Centers are located inside of four Atlanta Public Schools and were established in 1994 to keep children in the community healthy by providing easily accessible health care.

The health centers now provides primary health care services to children and adults of all ages.

Treating all levels of both acute and chronic illnesses, our School-based Health Centers are considered Primary Care Providers by health insurance companies.


Our highly trained and well qualified physicians and medical staff in partnership with Emory University is comprised of a physician, a pediatrician, 2 dentists, 2 nurse practitioners, nurses, medical assistants, a health educator and social workers.

The following services are provided by our medical team at all health centers:
  • Infant Check-ups
  • Physical exams and sports physicals
  • Monitoring and treatment of chronic diseases such as diabetes, asthma, obesity
  • Vaccines and immunizations
  • Confidential lab tests
  • Mental health support and counseling
  • Nutritional counseling and health education
  • Assistance with enrollment in low cost health insurance
  • Prescriptions
  • Dental screening and treatment (includes adult patients)
  • Nutritional counseling and health education
  • Assistance with enrollment in low cost health insurance,
  • Prescriptions
  • Dental screening and treatment (includes adult patients)
