Our After School Enrichment Program serves to improve the academic performance of Whitefoord Elementary School. Students are provided intensive and individualized academic support in a safe and nurturing environment. Learning plans based on students’ academic level are developed and the staff work closely with them to practice their skills and knowledge.
Our program maintains a low teacher student ratio of 1:15 to ensure the success of each student. Specialized educational assistance is offered to third and fifth grade students in preparation for the state’s Criterion Reference Competency Test (CRCT).
While supplementing the academic track, our program also engages students’ creativity and problem solving skills, in addition to providing enrichment activities such as karate, art, music, dance, and challenging educational games. Parent and family involvement is a key element of the program. Regular family focused activities and events are held throughout the year.
The After School Enrichment Program serves first through fifth grade students at Whitefoord Elementary School, Monday through Friday from 2:30pm -6:00pm during the regular school year .
