Programs & Services

Evaluation
The Whitefoord Community Program is a results based organization that is committed to the continuous evaluation of our services. Through each of the program areas, the WCP strives to achieve the following six outcomes for children and families:

Children are healthy.
Children are ready for school.
Children doing well in school.
Children are safe.
Families are stable and self sufficient.
Families are involved in the Whitefoord Community.

The evaluation component of the WCP focuses on the systematic collection of data to assess our progress. Evaluation data is used to inform decision-making and improve services. Evaluation findings are shared through our annual report, and various publications that are released periodically.

Child Development Program (CDP)
The Whitefoord Child Development Program provides a developmentally appropriate learning environment for children 0-4 years of age and currently serves 74 children.

Our goal is to enhance a child's school readiness by providing a strong academic and developmental foundation before they start elementary school. Each day children are engaged with indoor and outdoor activities to promote extensive language skills, creative problem solving skills, and cooperative living skills.

Parental participation and involvement is encouraged via monthly workshops covering a wide range of topics as well as volunteer opportunities in the classroom.

The Child Development Program combines the resources of the State of Georgia's Pre-K Program and the philosophy behind Early Head Start and Head Start programs.
