We are Whitefoord

Whitefoord offers community-based healthcare and early education services that intersect to build strong families and resilient communities. By offering individuals and families access to affordable childcare and healthcare, Whitefoord’s programs promote economic mobility, academic success, and improved quality of life. In addition to our flagship facility, The Whitefoord Health Center, located in the Edgewood neighborhood of Southeast Atlanta, we operate school-based health clinics at Toomer Elementary, King Middle School, and Woodson Park Academy. Our early education program is located in the historic Whitefoord Elementary School building in Edgewood. In 2022, we served over 3,400 patients in our health centers and educated 101 children at the Whitefoord Early Learning Academy. How can we help?

Patient story

Mr. Dabney has been a loyal patient at the Whitefoord Health Clinic for the last five years. During this time, he has been in and out of work due to health complications and hasn’t always had access to medical insurance. This could be a life-threatening challenge for Mr. Dabney, who is diabetic and insulin-dependent, if not for Whitefoord. “I don’t trust many people, but I trust the people here.” At the Whitefoord Health Center, Mr. Dabney is able to have a consistent medical team and a continuity of care to help him manage his diabetes, whether he has health insurance or not.
