School-Based Health Centers Update
IMportant Announcement
We are sharing an important update about Whitefoord’s school-based health services. We will be discontinuing on-site health services at both King Middle School and Toomer Elementary School effective August 4th, 2025.
While this marks the end of two long-standing school-based health centers, it does not mark the end of Whitefoord’s commitment to these communities.
Whitefoord Health Center at 1401 Hosea L. Williams Drive, SE, Atlanta, GA 30317—just one mile from Toomer Elementary and 2.5 miles from King Middle—remains open and ready to serve. Whitefoord Health Center is also accessible via MARTA with a bus stop directly in front of the clinic.

If you need assistance transferring medical records, please email medicalrecords@whitefoord.org or call 404-373-6614, select option 1 for medical or dental, and then option 4 for medical records.
We are deeply grateful to the leadership, staff, and families at both King Middle School and Toomer Elementary School for years of meaningful partnership—and to those who made this work possible. Your support helped create a model of care that continues to shape how health and education can work together for lasting impact.
As we move forward, we remain committed to school-based health care, community partnership, and innovative approaches to care. These closures offer an opportunity to rethink and strengthen our service delivery while keeping children and families at the center of our work. The school-based health center at KIPP Woodson Park remains open.
